Pauline Meister Obituary

Pauline Fick Meister passed away at BridgingLife, formerly Carroll Hospice, on September 10, 2024 at the age of 95. She was born in Baltimore on February 21, 1929 to Paul and Helen Fick. After graduating from Western High School in 1946 she went to work at Bell Telephone, later AT&T. At the time of her retirement she had been a manager for many years. A true sun worshipper Pauline loved going to Ocean City, bird watching, gardening, growing houseplants, and traveling. She was a long-time active member of Arlington United Methodist Church. Her biggest love was her family, especially her grandson and great granddaughters. Pauline was predeceased by her parents Paul and Helen Fick, her brother Paul (Bubby) Fick, and sisters Ida Marion (Pat), Doris, and Nancy. She is survived by her sister Fran Joyce (Paul), daughter Paula Brown (John), grandson Alden Bradstock (Drew), great granddaughters Cora and Anna Bradstock, and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, September 26 in Krug Chapel, Carroll Lutheran Village at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to BridgingLife, formerly Carroll Hospice, or to the Carroll Lutheran Village Resident Assistance Fund.
