Philip Golden Obituary
Philip Stephen Golden Jr., 65, of Taneytown, formerly of Trumbull, Conn., died Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013, at home.
Born Dec. 7, 1947, in Waterbury, Conn., he was the son of the late Philip Stephen Golden Sr. and Helen Sullivan Golden. He was the husband of Frances R. Golden.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are son Philip Stephen Golden III and wife Ellen, of Canton, Mass.; daughters Colleen Delgado and husband Steven, of Sykesville, and Ellen Holtz and husband Bill, of Silver Run; a brother, Daniel Golden, of West Hartford, Conn.; sisters Mary Gibney and Anne Wills, both of Massachusetts, and Regina Golden, of Connecticut; grandchildren Sophia and Daphne Golden, Grace and Katherine Delgado, and Anna Holtz; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers James and John Golden.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 44 Frederick St., Taneytown. Inurnment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Silver Run.
A memorial service will be held in Connecticut at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157; or to Visiting Nurse Services of Connecticut Inc., 765 Fairfield Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06604.
