Philip M. Parrish Sr.

Philip M. Parrish Sr., 84, of Hampstead, died Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at home.

Born April 23, 1929, in Maryland, he was the son of late Harry and Florence Beall Parrish. He was the husband of Shirley Parrish, his wife of 59 years.

He was the owner of Parrish Brothers Roofing. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid Orioles, Ravens and Colts fan, and enjoyed going to the racetrack. He also liked being in his yard and pool.

Surviving are daughter Sherry Raynor and husband Tom, of Hampstead; son Philip Parrish Jr. and wife Melanie, of Fallston; grandsons Justin Raynor and fiancee Lauren Piet, and Jeremy Raynor and girlfriend Maureen Michie, and Patrick Parrish and wife Kellie; a great-grandson, Jayden Parrish; a sister, Mary Mercer; and a brother, Oliver Parrish.

He was predeceased by siblings Howard, Harry, William Parrish, and Florence Morrell.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Druid Ridge Cemetery.
