Ronald Charnigo

Ronald Charnigo, 61, of Hanover, PA passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023, in Virginia. Born on July 30, 1962 in Towson, MD, he was the son of the late Joseph Jacob Charnigo and Elaine Marie (Coyle) Charnigo. Ronald was a graduate of North Carroll High School in Hampstead, MD, where he was a state champion in wrestling. He had served his country honorably as a Sergeant in the U. S. Air Force, and recently was a lead consultant for Computer Support Services. Ron was very skilled in computer programming and IT work. Ron was on the board of directors for the Epilepsy Foundation of Delaware, which he was very passionate about. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was recently a member of the Westminster Band where he enjoyed playing brass instruments. In his spare time, Ron also enjoyed learning about different historical events. Ron is survived by Michelle (McKenzie) Charnigo; children, Jonathan Charnigo and wife, Kim, Amanda Arnold and husband, Jordan, Grace Charnigo and Joseph Charnigo; grandchildren, Brooks, Baylor, and Cora; and brothers, Joe Charnigo, Mike Charnigo, Chris Charnigo, and Charlie Charnigo. The family will receive friends on November 26th from 3-5 and 7-9 at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated on November 28th beginning at 11:00 am at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester, MD. Interment will follow in New Lutheran Cemetery in Manchester.
