Ronald Larmore Obituary



Ronald Earl Larmore died Monday, January 15, 2018 at Integrace Fairhaven in Sykesville. Born to George Elwood and Blanche Ida Betton in Easton MD. Ron was the third son predeceased by twin brothers Elwood and Elmer. Ron joined the United States Air Force after graduating from Easton High School in 1955. Upon his return from Germany he married Faith Agnes Connolly in April 1961 whom he met in Easton prior to leaving for Germany. After the birth of Jon Benedict they moved to Baltimore so that Ron could join the Baltimore City Police Force and soon after, their youngest two children Ronie Elise and Jeffrey Andrew were born. Ron served for 33 years on the Police Force retiring in 1994. He also had three grandson's. J. Benedict Larmore, and Cole Emerson and Lon Elijah Shackelford and a son-in-law Gary Shackelford. Ron was a talented artist, woodworker, and auto mechanic. He was a member of the National Hot Rod Association as a young man and enjoyed his cars, Orioles baseball, and spending time with family and friends, and his long-time companion Ursula Maria. He was a kind and caring man and will be missed by many who knew him. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11am to 1pm at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road in Sykesville where a funeral service will follow at 1pm. Interment at Springfield Cemetery in Sykesville.
