Dorothy, Dawn and Melanie, I was so very sorry to learn of
Sammys passing. Many years have past since our friendship and was shocked at a time when I hoped to reconnect. Sammy always had a smile that could melt ice on any frowning face.
My condolences to your Family during your Loss and prayers of comfort in his passing.
May the memories of times spent together bring you some comfort in the days ahead.
Respectfully,
Rick Metz

Sam would come in to brothers pizza when i was a waiter and sit for hours in the evening making jokes, giving advice, and just being a friend to vent to if we were having a bad day. This is heart breaking. Rest in peace Sam. Thanks for your friendship and generosity.

I always remember Sammy smiling....we all had so much fun spending summer vacations in Nags Head together.....and countless holidays and pool parties in our parents backyard.
