Shawn Baker

Shawn W. Baker, 41, of Union Bridge, MD, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Frederick Memorial Hospital, Frederick, MD. He was the loving husband of Tammy M. (Austin) Baker, Union Bridge, MD. Together they shared 17 years of marriage. He was born November 11, 1975 in Hanover, PA, the son of Norman Stauffer and his wife Bonnie, New Oxford, PA and the late Diane Baker Crimmins. Shawn graduated from Littlestown High School, Littlestown, PA and had been employed with Shoney's and Super Fresh Supermarket, both in Westminster, MD. He enjoyed fishing and building model cars but above all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his wife, father and step-mother, he is survived by his daughters, Angelique, Hailey and Jasmine Baker, all at home; sister, Deb Baker, New Oxford, PA; step-father, John Crimmins, York, PA; paternal grandmother, Esther Stauffer, Littlestown, PA; maternal grandmother, Mary Jane Jacoby, Hanover, PA; mother-in-law, Barbara Austin Leister, Westminster, MD; step-sisters, Crystal Crank, Dover, PA, Jennifer Crimmins, York, PA, Mary Crimmins, Arkansas and Missy Crimmins, Florida and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 7 PM at the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle Street, Hanover, PA with Pastor Kevin Orewiler officiating.
