Thomas Heck Obituary
Thomas Richard Heck, age 67, of Eldersburg, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Northwest Hospital Center. Born August 17, 1950, in Laurel, MD he was the son of the late David Timmons Heck and Edith Jane Sanders Heck. He was the husband of almost 35 years to Stephanie L. Riddle Heck. Tom had been an Mercedes-Benz Technician for many years. He enjoyed painting and spending time with his family. Surviving in addition to his wife are his sons and their spouses, Brian Heck and Jeffrey Hops and Kevin Heck and Tina Lewis; step-son and companion, Wayne Hippler and Lura Kidd and step-daughter and spouse, Karry and Chris Turgeon and sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Tom Furlough. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Tom was predeceased by his brother, D. Elwood Heck. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7pm at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville where a funeral service will follow at 7pm. Interment will be private. The family would appreciate donations for funeral expenses in lieu of flowers.
