Thomas Jones

Thomas Eugene Jones, affectionately known to family as "Bub" and "Percy" to friends, 83, of Taneytown, MD passed away on September 25, 2025 at Frederick Health Hospital. Born on November 30, 1941 in Union Bridge, MD, he was the son of the late Moses Jones and Mary Key (Owens) Jones. He was also preceded in death by sons, Darren Jones and Christopher Harris, granddaughter, Alexis Jones; and sisters, Mary Magruder and Elizabeth Toop. Percy enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had an incredible memory which aided him in sharing memories of growing up on Mckinstrys Mill Road, and of his ancestry, Percy is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Bonnie Jones; son, Timothy E. Jones of PA; granddaughter, Priya Jones of DeLand, FL; siblings, Lois Cimino and husband, Ed of Hagerstown, Paul Jones of Ellicott City, Barbara Thompson of Frederick, and Rose Allen of Frederick. In accordance with his wishes, Percy will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
