Vernon Murriel Bull

Vernon Murriel Bull, 87, of Westminster, MD, formerly of Sparks, MD, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center, Towson, MD. Born on August 9, 1935, in Maryland, he was the son of the late Murriel Emmanuael Bull and Evelyn Elizabeth Naylor Bull. Vernon was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1957-1963. He was a retired sergeant from the Baltimore County Police Department at the Garrison Barracks. He was a long-time resident of Sparks, MD. Vernon was a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 004, the Littlestown Fraternal Order of the Eagles, and the Moose #1371 of Romney, WV. Surviving him are good friends: Mary Rose Beebe and Ray Beebe. He is also survived by numerous cousins. The family will receive visitors on Monday, April 17, from 5-7 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 18, at 10 am. Interment to follow at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, Upperco, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations in Vernon's name may be offered to Baltimore County Police Memorial Fund, Inc., 9304 Harford Road, Baltimore, MD 21234.
