Victor Eshelman Obituary
Victor Benjamin Eshelman Jr., 69, of Westminster, died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, at the Dove House, after a battle with cancer.
He was the husband of Rosemary Eshelman, his wife of 48 years.
He was a veteran of the Air Force.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Dawn Andersen and her fiance Thomas Kuczarski, of Mount Airy; grandchildren Ryan and Logan Andersen, of Mount Airy, and Ashley Eshelman, Victor Eshelman and Amanda Glaab, all of Cape Coral, Fla.; a great-grandchild, Rylee Kules, of Cape Coral; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Eshelman, of Cape Coral; sisters and brother-in-law Ethel Herling and Gwendolyn Baker, both of Florida, and Gail and Terry Dean, of Bel Air; brother and sister-in-law Alfred and Margaret Hays, of Baltimore; friends Charlotte and Harry Crumbacker, of Parkville; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by a son, Mark Eshelman.
He donated his body to cancer research in the hopes of helping to find a cure. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to The Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157-5629.
