Victoria Lynn Meckel

Victoria Lynn Meckel, 67, of Union Bridge, passed away on September 15, 2025, at UPMC West Shore. Born May 25, 1958, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Leland Ralph and Ellene Marie (Sparrow) Glaze. She was the loving wife of Albert Joseph Meckel, her husband of 43 years. Victoria loved children and was the owner of Little Cloud, a home daycare business for 10 years. She was a woman whose greatest joy was her family. Throughout her children's childhood and beyond, Victoria delighted in taking family vacations, especially to Myrtle Beach, Ocean City and Disney. She loved her dogs, was an avid Orioles fan, and a nature lover. Victoria enjoyed going to the casinos, doing crafts and puzzles, and making floral arrangements. She will be deeply missed. Surviving in addition to her husband are her children Leland R. Glaze, Jr. of Baltimore, Sean C. Meckel and partner Anne Hooper of Westminster, and Elizabeth E. Meckel of Union Bridge; 9 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Patrick Joseph Meckel. The family will welcome friends on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 11am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery in Uniontown. Flowers are welcomed.
