Whitmore Redding Obituary

Whitmore Eugene Redding, 85, of Hanover, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD. Born on September 6, 1939, in Manchester, MD, he was the son of the late Whitmore Augusta Redding and Sadie Evelyn Steger Redding. Whitmore was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Years ago, he was a crew supervisor for American Airlines. Surviving him is a niece: Kim Coale and husband Dennis of Manchester, and great-nieces and nephews: Kobe Pennewell, Tori Pennewell, and Ty Pennewell. Whitmore was predeceased by his sisters: Kathryn June Louise Jennings, Irene Marie "Dolly" Ruby, and Mary Ann Redding Cardinale. Funeral services and interment are private. If desired, donations in Whitmore's name may be offered to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, "PETA" 501 Front St., Norfolk, VA 23510, or to a wildlife foundation of your choice. Arrangements are by the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., Manchester, MD. Online condolences may be offered at www.eckhardtfuneralchapel.com
