He was raised in Reisterstown, MD, and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1970. Following his military service, William worked for Black & Decker for 35 years until his retirement in 2010. A proud veteran and patriot, William held his service in the USMC close to his heart. He was also a man who deeply loved life's simple pleasures. He was a self-proclaimed foodie who cherished dining out with friends and family. He treasured time spent at family cookouts, where he was often found sharing stories, laughter, and his generous spirit. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who would do anything for those he loved. In addition to his wife Laurie, William is survived by his children: Jennifer L.
