William H. Sisk Jr.

On December 16, 2024, William Henry Sisk, Jr. of Westminster, Maryland peacefully left us. He was the beloved husband of Shirley L. (Parks) Sisk, cherished father of William Michael Sisk and his wife Kimberly Anne Sisk, loving grandfather of Christopher Michael Sisk and his wife Brittany Sisk, Connor Patrick Sisk and his significant other Sarah Vaught, Great Grandfather to Brayden Michael Sisk and Xander Owen Sisk. He was Uncle to Shirley Blyth and her husband George Blyth, III, Kay Wentzloff and the late Charlotte DeLoof and her late husband Craig Deloof. He was predeceased by his sister Viola Brown and her late Husband John Brown. Bill, as he was known to family and friends, married Shirley in 1960 and she truly was the love of his life. Bill loved spending time on the water and He and Shirley owned several yachts over the years. In 1997 he had the distinguished honor of becoming the commodore of the Chesapeake Commodore's Club. At the time of his passing, he was the oldest living commodore. He was very proud of the accomplishment and of Shirley being the First Lady. He is also survived by many special relatives and family was very important to him. The family will receive anyone wishing to pay their respects on Thursday December 19, 2024, from 3-7 pm at Slack Funeral Home, P.A., 3871 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21043. The funeral service will be at Friday December 20, 2024 at 1 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery.
