Rodney Fights Obituary

Rodney Paul Fights, 82, of Elizabethtown, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at his residence in Elizabethtown.
He was born in Liberty to James and Edna P. Fights. He worked as an Electrical Maintenance technician at Coca-Cola and then at Akebono. He was a lifetime member of the JCs and was a Kentucky Colonel.
He was preceded in death by his wife Arlene Gayle Daniels Fights, his father James A. Fights, his mother Edna P. Carr Fights, one son Rodney Paul Fights, Jr., one daughter Karen Lynn Jaggers, one grandson Jason Lee Emrick, ten sisters Delores Elizabeth Edwards, Audrey Pearl "Sis" Long, Bertha Geneva "Eva" Chilton, Edna Lorena "Babe" Franklin, Theda Hildred "Dude" Rothwell, Leitha Marie Southerland, Alma Francis Montgomery, Nadine Carr Fights, Billie Jean Fights, and Editha Amelia Fights, and two brothers William Roberts "Sonny" Fights, and, James Garth Fights.??
He is survived by his son Gary S. Fights of Elizabethtown, one sister Margaret Stanley Fights, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and eight nieces and nephews.

Sorry to hear of Rodney´s passing. He was a great Maintenance Team Leader at Akebono. He was also a great wood worker. He and his wife made a rocking horse for my son.
