Charles Weaver Obituary

Cremation and services are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Interment will be at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, with military honors at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14. Following the ceremony, the family will host a reception and great friends at the Ozark Community Center, 1530 West Jackson Street, Ozark.
Charles Vernon Weaver, 71, of Springfield passed away Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021. He was born March 13, 1950, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, the son of Vernon and Viola (Blaney) Weaver. The family moved to California, where Charles spent most of his childhood.
Charles lived many years in Cassville. He served his country in the U.S. Army, including 18 months in Vietnam. On Dec. 13, 1980, Charles and Anita Harrison were married.
Charles worked as a salesman and installer in the heating and air business before retirement. Although he enjoyed fishing and was an excellent craftsman, his grandchildren were the delight of his life. When in his workshop or relaxing in his chair, his canine companions, Bear and Bella were always by his side.
Survivors include: His wife, Anita; children, Madalyn Weaver, of the home, Jesse Weaver and wife Jennifer of Springfield, Missy Levron and husband D.J. of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Charles E. Weaver and wife Cheryl of Cassville; grandchildren, Atreyu Weaver, Lily Weaver, Madeline Levron, Courtney Levron, Brandon Weaver and Michael Weaver; great-grandchildren, Lukas Weaver and Kash Levron; a brother, David Weaver of Cassville, and a sister, Shirley Fields of Arkansas.

Always enjoyed our conversations while you were out riding your bicycle. The picture you presented to me now hangs in the building directly behind the plane in Springfield, off Division Street. I held on to it for 15 years. I felt it would be served best displayed in the office building. Rest easy my old friend.
