Letha J. Van Dyke, 87

Letha J. Van Dyke, age 87, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho went to be with the Lord on August 6, 2025. She was born in Neosho Falls, Kansas, moved with her family to Burley, Idaho in 1947, and then to Coeur d'Alene in 1950.

She graduated from Coeur d'Alene High School in 1955. She married Kenneth D. Van Dyke, and had two children, was widowed in 1958, and moved to Seattle in 1960. She lived in Seattle until 1993 when she returned to Coeur d'Alene to retire.

Letha is survived by her daughter, Karen L. Van Dyke of Coeur d'Alene, and son, Kenneth D. Van Dyke II of Priest River; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She said the best thing she ever did was to have her two children, Karen and Ken.

She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Kenneth D. Van Dyke at Forest Cemetery in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
