Ricky MonBarren Obituary

Ricky MonBarren , 66

Ricky Eugene MonBarren passed from this earth on August 10, 2025, to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, his beloved daughter, Michelle MonBarren, his mother, Suzi Q. Cooper, and his older brother, Daniel MonBarren.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Vanessa, four precious daughters-Monique, Ava, Nicki, and Morgan-and two cherished grandsons, Charlie and Ben Reed. He is also survived by his younger brothers, Randall James MonBarren, Brian MonBarren, and Rodney Joe Durrenberger; his younger sister, Rene Michelle Doherty; his aunt Jane (Dr. Nancy Bennett) along with several cousins and extended family.

Ricky made his living as a commercial painter, but his life extended far beyond his profession. He was passionate about justice and devoted himself to supporting causes that helped protect communities and promote safety. A dedicated family man, he treasured preserving family heritage and often spoke proudly of his children and grandchildren.

He enjoyed hobbies such as boxing, caring for animals, and writing. Shortly before his passing, he completed a manuscript reflecting on his life, his experiences, and the lessons he learned along the way-a testament to his courage, resilience, and dedication to doing what was right.

Though life brought him many challenges, Ricky faced each with strength and perseverance. His unwavering love for his family, his sense of duty, and his commitment to helping others leave a lasting legacy in the hearts of all who knew him.

Rest in peace, my brother.
