Robert "Bob" Babb, 85

Robert "Bob" Babb, 85, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025. Born in Palouse, Washington on May 18, 1939 to Roscoe and Wilma Babb, Bob lived a full life of determination, humor and love for his family.

For most of his life, Bob was a long-haul truck driver who traveled over a million miles and to 49 of the 50 states, making many friends along the way. He met his wife, Sharon, at Yellowstone Trucking in Coeur d'Alene and they remained happily married for 46 years. When they weren't together on the road, they could be found boating on the lake, riding on their motorcycle, or attending any of the Phuddy Duddy Car Club events in his 1950 Ford.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother and father; his sisters, Barbara and Ellen and his wife, Sharon, who recently passed away on August 12, 2024.

He is survived by his sister, Joy; by his children: Mark, Alan, Jodi and Paul; his step-daughter, Susan, step-sons, Patrick and Gerald; his grandchildren: Brandon, Zachary, Madilyn, Nathan, Matthias, Caleb, Jacob, Joel, Tami, Ian, Trice and Andrew; his step-grandchildren: Sarah, Michael, Kevin, Jennifer, Gaby, Jess and Mckenna; his great grandchildren: Silas, Scarlett and Maisy; and his step-great grandchildren: Aria, Paxton and Briar.

He is greatly missed and loved by these and many others and will forever be remembered.

Family will gather privately at a later date. Interment will be at St. Thomas Cemetery, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
