BABB - Mae Babb, age 80 of Monroe, GA, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM at the family residence. Mae was a beloved wife, mother, and sister who always had a smile on her face. She lived a full and vibrant life and touched everyone she knew. Her spirit was like no other. She was an outgoing, kind, and loving woman who had a special place in her heart for her family and her cats. Mae was preceded in death by her parents, Carmine Frederick and Willie Christine (McGough) Cunningham, brothers, Jack Cunningham, Bobby Jim Cunningham, James Larry Cunningham, and Fred Cunningham, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Donald Babb of Monroe, GA; children, Terry Burchett and Michele Keese of Gulf Breeze, FL, Scott Burchett of Palm Coast, FL, Ginger Burchett of Federal Way, WA, Rebecca Burchett of Monroe, GA; sisters, Iris Ann Cunningham Rutledge of Vestavia Hills, AL, and Delores and Richard Thaxton of Elijay, GA.
