Robert Scott Obituary

Robert "Bob" W. Scott, 81

Robert "Bob" W. Scott passed away at home with his wife Suzanne by his side on December 26, 2022.

Bob joined his parents Helen (Dalson) Scott and Ovie G Scott and two sisters Neva and Carol in their family home in Tekoa, Washington. He was born in Spokane, Washington April 29,1941.

He loved growing up in Tekoa. His school and friends and playing sports meant the world to him. As a family we loved hearing him tell us his stories of his years in Tekoa.

Bob attended Gonzaga University and received his Bachelor of Science degree. He made many lifelong friends there. Sports continued while at Gonzaga. He played and loved baseball and basketball. This love of sports continued throughout his life.

In 1963 Bob and Peggy Gossett (Tekoa) married. They made their home in Spokane, Washington. Together they had three wonderful children. Timothy S, James D, and Molly Jo Scott. After 18 years, Bob and Peggy went their separate ways. They remained friends for life and loving parents to their children.

Bob worked for Pathology Associates which then led him to Kootenai Medical Center. His career was in Nuclear Medicine. He made many friends in his 30 years at KMC. He met and married Suzanne (Sue) in 1988. They remained as one for these last 34 years. For 28 years they lived in Post Falls, Idaho and then moved to Rathdrum for these last 6 years.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents and both of his sisters. He is survived by a large loving family. His wife Sue, his son Timothy (Lana) in Clackamas Or. His son James in Delaware. His daughter Molly in Spokane. His step sons Alex Dexter (Ronda) in Lake Stevens, and Eric Dexter (Jessica) in Monroe, Wa. Also his much loved grandchildren. Brittany, Amanda, Brett, Cavan and Karissa. Also his Step grandchildren Carson, Tyler, Alyssa, Maddy and Isabella. His precious Great grandchildren Kylie Ann, and Saylor Rae, Jayden and Cameron, and Odin and Lincoln.

You will be in our hearts forever. These last 9 years were not easy but you showed us such courage and strength and we always felt your great love for us. You are resting now and for that we feel a measure of peace. No services will be planned. Please pray for those suffering from heart and lung diseases. We would like to thank Hospice of North Idaho for their genuine care and help. We also give thanks to all of Bobs doctors that cared for him. They all truly do Gods work.
