Shannon Casey-Smith Obituary

Shannon Casey-Smith , 49

Shannon Ray Casey-Smith 49, passed away at home in Spirit Lake Idaho on October 20, 2025 surrounded by her husband, children and mother. Shannon passed from Ovarian cancer after a long 7 year battle. She never gave up and praised God for every minute she was able to spend with her family.



Shannon was born in Dawson Creek British Colombia to Mary Kathleen Casey



She attended Coopville High school in Washington



Shannons father was in the Navy and was a great influence in her life, so at the age of 21 she joined the Navy. She served for 10 years until she was medically retired in 2007.



Shannon met her husband Bobby while stationed at camp Pendleton in San Diego. They married on June 18, 2004



Shannon is survived by her husband Bobby and her four children, Dakota 20, Tristan 17, Reagan 16 and Brooklynne 12. Her mother Mary, father Mark and two brothers Jed and Jacob.



Shannon was the glue that held our family together. She will be greatly missed.
