Allan "Boyd" Pierce

1953 - 2018

Allan "Boyd" Pierce, 65, of Elkton, MD passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018. Born in West Grove, PA on December 29, 1953, he was the son of the late John and Edna Mae Steward Pierce.
Mr. Pierce had worked in maintenance at Heron Point, Chestertown, MD and at the Newark Charter School. He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 851, Elkton and enjoyed going to the mountains, hunting, 4-wheeling, softball and watching NASCAR.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Brenda Moore Pierce; stepsons, Brian and Nathan Mackie, both of Elkton, MD; grandchildren, Savana and Wyatt; and siblings, Kenny Pierce and Elmer Pierce, both of Newark, DE, James Pierce, Ocean City, MD, Joseph Pierce, PA and Jane Pierce, Elkton, MD.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Pierce was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and John Pierce.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton St., Elkton where visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Cherry Hill Methodist Cemetery, Cherry Hill, MD.
