Amanda Atkinson Obituary

Amanda Rebecca Atkinson, 44, of New Milton, WV, departed this life on Thursday, December 1, 2016, at Clarksburg Nursing & Rehab, following an extended illness.
She was born July 17, 1972 in Baltimore County, MD, a daughter to Delbert and Bonnie Atkinson of New Milton, WV. Amanda worked as a CNA at Salem Care & Rehab until her illness developed. She was a hard worker and greatly enjoyed photography, spending time with family, and reading her Bible.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Delbert Atkinson III (Amy) of New Milton, WV; nieces and nephews, William, Jocelyn and Connor, and her maternal grandma, Mary Burton of Brookdale Senior Living in Bridgeport, WV.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home, Pennsboro, WV.

Bill and family, I just saw this and it brings me so much sadness. I am truly sorry for your loss. She was a very good friend of mine in high school and she has crossed my mind many times over the years. I will never forget her.
