Audrey Eldreth

1936 - 2023

Audrey Osborne Eldreth, 86 of Elkton, MD, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023 in the Autumn Lake at Calvert Manor, Rising Sun, MD.

Born in Bradshaw, WV, on August 4, 1936, she was the daughter of the late James Whitten Osborne and Eliza Jane (Day) Osborne. She was the wife of 51 years of the late William G. Eldreth Sr. who passed August 1, 2003.

Audrey retired from Cecil County Public Schools where she worked as a transportation aid. She also worked for J.C. Penney.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law: Mike & Cathy Eldreth of Elkton, MD; 5 grandchildren: Michael Eldreth, Jr. (Patricia), William Ian Eldreth (Desiree), Tracy Eldreth, Matt Eldreth, Bill Eldreth; 8 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband and parents, Audrey was also preceded in death by her son: William Eldreth, Jr.; a grandson: Jason Eldreth; her siblings: Ira Osborne, Melanie Osborne, Polly Muncy (Calvin), Gladys Muncy (Charlie), Stella Brewster, Otis Osborne (Shirley), Tommy Davis, Dora Osborne, Juanita Osborne, Jerry Osborne, John C. Osborne (Patsy).

Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Audrey to the Alzheimer's Association, in care of the funeral home.
