Judie Hines Obituary
Judie was a woman of many interests, she loved caring for houseplants, and the color green. She had a joyful collection of hippos, and was a devoted fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Star Trek. Above all, she cherished her family, who brought her endless pride and happiness.
She is survived by her children: Christina Maria Lee (Troy), Rebecca Maria Buckland (Charlie), Regina Maria Yetman (Jamie), George Arthur Montras III (Kathy), George James Montras III, Maryah Maria Carrico (John), and George Joseph Gregory Montras (Kelsey).
She will be remembered by her grandchildren: Amanda Lawson (Joshua), Kari Rothwell (Brandon), Travis Jaeger (Deanna), Samantha Jaeger (James), Alexandra O'Donnell (Oisín), Matthew Kline (Nicole), Victoria Lee (Jacob), Bethany Kline, Savannah Montras, Danielle Lee, Aaron Kline (Selena), George Jason Montras, Mason Carrico, Ryan Carrico, Dylan Yetman, Ethan Yetman, Emma Yetman, Austin Carrico, Luke Yetman, George James Montras IV, Gabriella Yetman, Taylor Montras, Juliette Yetman, Max Yetman, George Alan Montras, Saylor Montras, and Aria Montras.
She was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Lilly Wright, Joshua Lawson Jr., Leighton Lawson, Benjamin McClure, Amarah Kline, Zendaya Guerrero, Oisín O'Donnell, Kingston Kline, Reid Jaeger, Isla O'Donnell, Eva Kline, and Nuala O'Donnell.
Judie will be greatly missed by her sister-in-law, Jackie Montras (Robert).
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Hines; son, George Arthur Montras, Jr.; grandson, George Arthur Montras IV; great grandson, Zachary wright; and her former husband George Arthur Montras Sr.
The family would like to express their appreciation for her caregivers Lisa and Amber.
A funeral service honoring Judie's life and legacy will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at 3:00 PM, with a visitation beginning at 2:00 PM, at Sinking Springs Retreat Center, 843 Elk Forest Rd, Elkton, MD 21921. A private burial will follow.
