Kathy Brown Caldwell

1960 - 2023

Kathy Brown Caldwell, 62, of North East, MD, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023 after a brief illness. Born in Elkton, MD, on November 26, 1960, she was the daughter of Helen Brooks Brown and the late Randall Brown.

Kathy had worked at Ware Presbyterian Village, Oxford, PA. She was a kind, sweet, and beautiful person. She loved being with her family and especially loved being a mother. Kathy enjoyed family gatherings, picnics, going to the beach, walking in the woods, and sitting in the sun.

Survivors include her husband of 30 years, David L. Caldwell; daughter, Crystal Jessie Caldwell; sister, Betty Brown Hickey (Steve), Port Deposit, MD; and nephews, Michael Hickey (Sara), Elkton MD and Mathew Hickey (Anita), North East, MD; great nephews, Tyler, Connor, AJ, and Jake Hickey; great-great niece, Ellie Jane Hickey; and great-great nephew, Lincoln Hickey.

Funeral service will be held at 11 A.M., Friday, February 24, 2023, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with interment in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday evening, February 23 from 6-8 P.M, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to David L. Caldwell for Crystal's education fund, in care of the funeral home at the above address.
