Myrtle Parrack Obituary

Myrtle Jane Arrants Parrack, 79 of Elkton, MD, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024.

Born in Havre de Grace, MD, on January 4, 1945, she was the daughter of the late James Peter Langhorne, Sr. and Winnie Iola (Bumgarner) Langhorne.

Jane worked as a hairdresser. She enjoyed basket weaving, raising animals on her farm, ballroom dancing and scuba diving.

She is survived by a sister: Wanda Langhorne of North East, MD and brother: Brian Langhorne of Elkton, MD; brother-in-law: Skip Mullen; nieces and nephews: Andrea Dunn (Dennis), Noelle Bolingbroke (Jason), James Langhorne, Adam Langhorne, Scott Langhorne; and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jane was also preceded in death by her husbands: Walter N. Arrants, Jr. on November 8, 1993 and Robert A. Parrack, January 3, 2023; her brother: James Peter Langhorne, Jr. and a sister: Bonnie Mullen.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 11:00 am at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 21 Foster Lane, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow services in Hart's United Methodist Cemetery, Elk Neck, MD.
