Bobbie Duane Pyle

1944 - 2024

Bobbie Duane Pyle passed away on December 18, 2024, at the age of 80. He died peacefully at his home with his son, Todd Pyle, by his side.

Bobbie was born on September 23, 1944, to Ed and Francis Pyle in El Dorado Springs, MO at Cedar County Memorial Hospital. He graduated from Stockton High School. After school, Bobbie became a heavy equipment operator and was a part of the construction of the Stockton Dam.

Bobbie worked for the union for many years before retiring and living the remainder of his life on the farm raising livestock. Bobbie had a heart for animals and enjoyed his cattle, donkeys, and sheep. He would affectionately tell stories of his animals, especially his bull Otis and his donkeys BJ and LJ. His animals became members of the family.

Bobbie had a gruff exterior but had a soft spot for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were the lights of his life and he loved watching them grow.

Bobbie is preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Francis Pyle, his brother, Bill Pyle, and his son, Chad Pyle. Bobbie is survived by his son, Todd Pyle, his daughter-in-law, Christy Pyle, his grandson, Jake and Bethany Pyle, his granddaughter, Josie and JC Fidler, and his great-grandchildren, Lakyn Pyle, Jack Fidler, Riverly Pyle, and Rhett Fidler.
