Darrell Wayne Williams

With heavy hearts, the family of Darrel "Wayne" Williams, a lifelong resident of Stockton, MO, shares that he peacefully left this world after 86 years on May 4th, 2025, after a life richly lived in service and kindness.

Wayne married Shirley Rayburn on April 6, 1957. They were blessed with four children and celebrated 59 years of marriage.

Wayne owned and operated Williams Foundations until his retirement. He was also a farmer, home builder, excavated many ponds, loved to fish, and was known for his bumper crop of tomatoes every Summer. He would often have more than seventy tomato plants in his garden so that he could share them with family and friends.

Wayne was preceded in death by his wife Shirley, his parents Sampson "Eugene" and Hannah Mae (Sell), brother Gene Alden, his sister Kay and his lifelong fishing buddy, Dale Roberts.

Wayne is survived by his children, Ted and Luana Williams, Leisa and Bob Griggs, Julie and Dan Pishny and Jason and Robin Williams. His grandchildren, Kyle Williams, Craig Griggs, Amanda and Tony Warnke, Chris Oldham, Erin and Aaron Dollinger, Ryan Pishny, Caleb Williams and Natasha Williams. His great grandchildren, Rylee Griggs and Bentley Warnke. His siblings, Carolyn, Dannie and wife Judy, Mike, Steve, as well as his sister in law, Margaret.

Funeral services and visitation will be located at Bland-Brumback Funeral Home in Stockton, MO. Visitation was on Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 5:00 until 7:00pm and funeral services were held on May 9, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside services followed at the Stockton Cemetery.
