Larry Vorwark Obituary
Larry grew up with two brothers, Curtis Vorwark and Stanley Vorwark. After thirteen years of courtship, he married the love of his life, Beverly Jo Meads in 1990. In 1992, the couple moved their family to Stockton, where he dedicated more than a decade to serving his community through first response and fire/rescue for Stockton and Caplinger Mills Volunteer Fire Departments. Larry retired from Hammons Product Company after 25 years of hard work and loyal service.
Known for his ornery spirit and quick wit, Larry was always ready with a grin and quick comeback. He was often heard saying, "Want some?", accompanied by a playful fist shake. He teasingly accusing others of being "breezy"-when in truth, breezy was his own middle name. Though sometimes stubborn, he loved deeply and fiercely. To Larry, family was not defined only by blood, but by the bonds of loyalty, laughter, and love.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Joanne and Brother Stanley.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Beverly (Meads) Vorwark; children Dennis (Melody) Schrock of Osceola, Melissa (Charles) Cross of Humansville, Christy (Chris) Pitcher of Stockton, Phillip (Valerie) Vorwark of Humansville, Mary Jo Vorwark of Kansas City, Brandon Vorwark of the home, and Ricky as well as 47 grandchildren and great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews who will carry on his legacy.
Larry was despised by some but loved by ALL who truly knew him. His larger-than-life personality, fierce love, and unforgettable humor will be remembered always.
The family asks in lieu of flowers to make donations to Caplinger Mills Volunteer Fire Department.

I went to school with Larry,and I knew his brother's, and a sister-in-law, 2 Nephew's. He will be missed. Nice guy.
