Michelle McCormick Obituary

Michelle Ranne (Benson) McCormick was born on August 23, 1983 to Terry Benson in Leavenworth, Kansas. She passed away on May 16, 2024 in Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 40. Michelle grew up on the family farm with her father, Terry, her step-mother Sno, and her step-brother, Ryan.

Michelle attended Stockton school and graduated from Stockton High School in 2001. She attended First Southern Baptist church and accepted Jesus as her Savior and was baptized as a young teenager.

Michelle welcomed three beautiful daughters into her life in her early twenties, Adison, Alyvia, and Allyse Dwerlkotte, whom she loved very much. In 2016 Michelle married Joseph McCormick and they had four wonderful children, Collin, Connor, Isaacc, and Paityn.

Michelle is preceded in death by her Uncle Paul Benson.

Michelle is survived by her husband, Joseph and sons, Collin, Connor, Isaacc, and daughter, Paityn, of the home, daughter, Adison Dwerlkotte and granddaughter, Harper, and daughters Alyvia Dwerlkotte, and Allyse Dwerlkotte, her parents, Terry and Sno Benson, and step-brother Ryan and sister-in-law Jacki Robertson, nephew Xander and wife Becky Robertson, niece Jadzia Robertson, and nephews, Zayden Robertson and Ryson Robertson, her Aunt and Uncle Sheryl Fox and Dave Fry and cousins Brandon and wife Kallie Jordan, and Derrick Jordan and her Uncle Henry Benson and wife Kathy. Burial at Mayfield Cemetery.
