Rose Harring Obituary

Rose Marie Harring was born on August 17, 1943 and passed on June 4, 2025 and was the daughter of Gene and Irma Miller(Licktieg). She was raised on a small farm near Greely Kansas where she attended Saint John the Baptist parochial school and was a devout Catholic her entire life. She had a love for worship and faith and with song. She married Melvin Leroy Harring on august 7, 1982. She loved her husband's sons as her own Leroy Raymond Harring and Phillip Eugene Harring. Rose worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City until the age of retirement where Rose and her husband moved to Stockton Lake Missouri where she lived until passing in her sleep peacefully due to complications of cancer.
Rose is survived by her stepson Phillip Harring, four grandchildren: Michelle Marie Cheatham , Matthew Raymond Harring, Ashley Rene Harring, and Amber Dawn Harring. She leaves behind seven great grandchildren Abbegaille Rose Harring, Aiden Robert Cheatham, Emma Lynn Cheatham, Anna Marie Parker, Chelsea Nicole Brandfell, Olivia Taylor Harring and Harper Avery Harring.
Rose was steadfast and unwavering in faith and in life until her passing. Dedicated mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Rose was a Eucharistic minister and Altar servant in Saint Peters catholic church in Stockton Missouri as well as being in the choir for many years. She would often be found giving the Holy Sacrament to the elderly who were unable to attend mass. In her free time she was a skilled seamstress and quilt maker and often volunteered her time at the Stockton lake nursing home spreading cheer and love in a way that only Rose could do. Her passing was a great loss as she was loved and greatly respected.
