Dale Bohnsack Obituary

Dale I Bohnsack, 93, went to his heavenly home on January 14, 2025 after complications from a fall.

Visitation will be from 12:30-2 on Saturday, Feb.1, 2025, at the Oak Grove Church, 6101 32nd Ave., Shellsburg, IA. Celebration of Life will follow at 2PM.

Dale was born on December 14, 1931 in Traer, Iowa. He was a man of many talents, but farming was his real passion.

At the age of 14, he met the love of his life, Roberta Hoskey. They were married January 28, 1950. Dale passed just 14 days short of their 75th Wedding Anniversary.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, 3 siblings, a daughter, Barbara Blumgren, grandsons Tanner Bohnsack and Seth Blumgren and granddaughter Jade Blumgren.

Dale is survived by his loving wife, Roberta, daughter Bonnie (Ron) White, sons David (LuAnn), Brian (Marie) and Todd (Rene) Bohnsack, 25 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren and one more due in July.

Dale leaves behind a lifetime of memories and more love than any family could ever need.
