Obituary for Jane Ades
Jane Ades passed away in her sleep Saturday April 6, 2024 at her home. She was 62. Jane was born June 16, 1962 in Vinton, the daughter of Chester and Pauline Hobbs.
Jane married Mike Ades in 1978 and their marriage lasted 45 years.
Jane was an excellent housewife and very talented at home improvement projects.
The last 30 years she was a home health care provider. She loved to help people of all ages. She loved her dogs, and she loved her plants and flowers. She had an excellent green thumb. She was a wonderful person and will be sorely missed.
She is survived by her husband Mike of Batavia, Iowa; a daughter Jeannie Richardson from Ottumwa, Iowa; a son Wayne Ades from Fairfield, Iowa; a granddaughter Bria Richardson; two grandsons: Drew Richardson of Ottumwa, and Malicki Ades from Fairfield, Iowa; as well as two brothers, David Hobbs and Dutch Hobbs, both of Vinton, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents and paternal grandparents.
