Alice Bentley Obituary
Born Dec. 4, 1936 in Louisa County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Carroll Gibson and Lelia Sprouse Gibson. She was the wife of the late Paul H. Bentley.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, John Bentley and Dean Gibson; brothers, Herman ""Buck"" Gibson, Henry Gibson, Bill Gibson, Thomas Gibson and Richard Gibson; and sisters, Annie Eddy, Thelma Brautigan, Katie Walker, Mary Bratton and Joyce Clements.
Mrs. Bentley is survived by daughters, Cindy Bentley and Ronda B. Stone and husband, Daniel, all of Bumpass; sons, Paul Bentley Jr. and wife, Rose, of Mineral, and Kenneth Barnes, of Bumpass; sister, Frances G. Jackson, of Richmond; grandchildren, Billy Bentley, Jeremy Ring, Katherine Carter, Ellen Morrissette, Brittny Chum, Katie Barnes and Amber Baker; great-grandchildren, Megan Bentley, Billy Bentley Jr., Cody Bentley, Jayden Ring, Ciyanna Okocha and Naomi Carter; and a host of other friends and relatives.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on June 29 at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville. Interment will be private at a later date in Hillcrest Cemetery.
