Daniel O'Brian Jackson (DJ), 37, of Louisa, Virginia, departed this life on Friday, December 23, 2016.
Daniel O'Brian Jackson, the second youngest child of Mike and Brenda Jackson, was born on March 1, 1979, in Charlottesville, Virginia. Daniel attended Louisa County High School and was employed by National Optronics, Charlottesville, Virginia.
Daniel attended Rising Sun Baptist Church in Mineral, Virginia, throughout his life. He had a love for the New York Giants, his favorite football team. However, the real love and joy of his life was his son, Elijah, (aka mini DJ).
Daniel loved to cook, fish and spend time with his family. He also loved to visit his Aunt Dot at the nursing home in Louisa, Virginia. DJ loved his grandmother, Mrs. Julia Jackson, who was his world.
Daniel was preceded in death by his paternal grandfathers, Nehi Houchens and Samuel L. Jackson Sr.; his cousins Joshua Jackson; his great-grandparents, Eugene and Alice Houchens; his brother, Kevin Jackson; and his sister-in-law, Candy Jackson.
Daniel leaves to cherish his memory, his loving son, Elijah Kamon Jackson; his father Mike Jackson; his mother, Brenda Jackson; his brothers, Anson Jackson (Sticky), Randy Jackson (Monica) all of Louisa, Virginia; his two sisters, Tarika Coles of Mineral, Virginia, Keysha (Kevin) Miller of Chesterfield, Virginia; and his loving grandmother, Mrs. Julia Jackson of Mineral, Virginia. DJ also leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted companion Natasha Scott; and his two best friends, Omar Trice and Richard Quarles. He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Daniel will be missed by all.
