Edith Hicks Obituary
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Kenneth T. Hicks; daughter, Janet Hicks; and her parents, Elisa Loving and Melvin W. Walker Sr.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Hicks of Georgia; her sons, Thomas "Hank" Hicks (Brenda) of Mineral, and James "Kenny" Hicks (Robin) of Henrico, Virginia; her brother, Melvin Walker Jr. of Louisa, Virginia, four grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, April 30, 2018 at Woodward Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11a.m. on Tuesday, May 1, at Hillcrest Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Michael Nickle.
