Annette Quinn Obituary

Annette Jean Quinn
April 13, 1956 - February 10, 2023
Pleasant Gap, Pennsylvania - Annette J. Quinn
April 13, 1956-February 10, 2023
Annette J. Quinn, 66, of Pleasant Gap, Pa passed away on February 10, 2023. Born on April 13, 1956, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Clair and Beverly Watson. On August 26, 1978, she married Robert J. Quinn who survives at home.
In addition to her husband, she is survived also by her daughter Jacqueline M. Simpson (Bill), of Raleigh, NC. & her son Clayton J. Quinn (Nicole) of Pleasant Gap, Pa. She is also survived by four brothers Chad and Charles Watson of Snow Shoe, Pa, Daniel Watson of Philipsburg, Pa, Kevin Watson of Easton Springfield, MA, three grandchildren, Carter Stein, Easton Quinn & Evelyn Simpson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Watson.
Annette loved reading immensely and did so often. She also enjoyed the outdoors anywhere from the back porch of their home observing birds and other wildlife with her binoculars, to the mountains of PA around a crackling campfire down to the shores of the Outer Banks collecting shells while listening to the waves crash. Annette created beautiful works of art by sketching and painting nature scenes and other portrayals as she saw it through her eyes as well. She had a fondness of growing flowers and watching the beautiful butterflies they attracted as well. She also enjoyed cooking good meals for friends and family whether it be at home or at the Old Red Horse Tavern.
Adoringly known as Grandma Nette, her greatest joy was spending time making memories with her three grandchildren. Whether it be coloring eggs at Easter time, decorating Christmas trees with her homemade crocheted snowflake ornaments, rooting for the Steelers or even building Legos. Grandma Nette loved each of her grandchildren very much so.
In loving memory of a woman who loved profoundly the people she held dear.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be shared with friends and family.
