Millville, New Jersey - Beryl Vaughn Holtzinger (born February 13, 1937) went home to her Heavenly Father on Thursday April 6, 2023. She was born to Robert I and Anna Lannen Hartsock of Julian. She graduated from State College High School and attended Penn State University with a major in Home Economics. Beryl worked at Penn State University in the Spanish department. She enjoyed being active in all aspects of life. Beryl traveled extensively, both abroad and in the US. She participated in bowling leagues at different points in her life and played pickleball in her community when it was possible. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She had a sharp wit and enjoyed card games, dominos, and was always thrilled to hear a new, or old, joke from anyone. She was happiest when helping others. She spent time volunteering for Meals on Wheels. Beryl was a member of Bald Eagle Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward Holtzinger, and siblings Naomi (Matthew) Finlay, Amanda (Roy) Miller Swan, Joy (Karl) Wallace, Russell Hartsock, Albert (Donna) Hartsock, and Neva Hartsock. She is survived by three sons, Edward (Jamie) Holtzinger Jr, Kenneth (Tammy) Holtzinger, Michael Holtzinger, and one daughter, Amy (Jeffrey) Turner. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and her feline companion Archie.
