Yesterday would have been your 35th birthday. Seems so young... too young for it to be over. You would have been drinking up havin a hay day. I thought about you a lot yesterday, everyday. Happy birthday. I guess I have nothing more to say right now.

Uncle Billy,

Well in a little over 2 months it will have been a year since you've been gone. The pain of losing you hasn't subsided, I thought it would have but I guess this is something that no one will ever be able to get over. Some days are easier than others but I still miss you greatly. The holidays weren't the same this year and they never will be again. It's been hard on everyone. Things just aren't the same without you here. You lit up any room you walked into and without your smiling face and your silly jokes, life just isn't as pleasant. I love you very much and I miss you more than words can say. You're in my prayers and thoughts every single day and I know you look after me and your great neice and nephew and I thank you for that. I can feel you when you're near. I love you.

Uncle Billy,

It's been just about 4 months since you left this world, yet it still feels like, you just aren't gone. I keep feeling like I could pick up that phone and give you a buzz and hear your voice on the other end. I feel like I could drive by your old house in Marsh Creek and see the big red truck parked in the front with you off somewhere riding a four wheeler. I just can't grasp the idea of never being able to see you again or hear your voice or your laugh. Even 4 months later, I just can't grasp the thought that you're gone...forever. That you just aren't coming back. I think about you all the time and I miss you dearly Uncle Bill. I talk to you a lot and I know that you hear me. All I have left of you are memories, some pictures, my thoughts, and the quiet times when I speak outloud to you as though you're standing right in front of me. I wish you were here. I love you.

Uncle Billy,

I got the call at 5:30 in the morning with the horrifying news about you...I was in shock, I didn't know what to say..Still to this day I don't know what to say..I love you so much...Not a day goes by that I don't see your smile, hear your laugh, and feel your hugs. We haven't been very close in the past few year's, but when we did see eachother it was like no time had passed at all....When we were younger we were your girls and you would never let anything happen to any of us....When any of us fell you were the first to pick us up and brush us off.. I still remember when mom and dad got amanda and I new bikes and amanda ran into a car and u flew down the hill to get her and saw a dent in the car and just laughed and said ohh well, they won't know...I have so many good memories of you that will always be in my heart..To this day when we are all together just like always we have a story to tell about you and the way things were.It just breaks my heart to know that I will never to feel your hugs, see your smile, or hear your one of a kind laugh and voice, but I know one day we will all see eachother again and I will be able to feel your hugs again. I love you....

Your neice

Uncle Billy,

I see that no one has written to or about you for over a month now. I just want you to know that you are not forgotten, just so badly missed that it's not easy to talk or write about. Sometimes it's easier to deal with the pain of your loss, without words or letters. It's hard to think about, let alone write down the hurt or talk about it. Just know that you are not and never will be forgotten about. You were a wonderful person and all that knew you loved you and love you still. You are so greatly missed Uncle Billy. I love you always and I'll miss you for the rest of my life, Kristina

Uncle Billy,

This just doesn't seem to be getting any easier. I try to take it one day at a time but there's not a minute of the day that a question, thought, or memory of you doesn't enter my mind. Having you for my almost 27 years of life, just wasn't long enough. I can't help but be sad that my kids will never have the opportunity to experience the greatest uncle that anyone could ever ask for, like I did. You never let me down and you always understood me. I couldn't have asked for anyone better than you to go through my life with. I'll never forget you. There was only one Uncle Billy in this world, and now he's gone. Noone could ever take your place and you'll forever be missed and loved. You'll never be forgotten.

I just wish I could understand, even just a little, why this happened. I know you're watching us right now, wishing you could take back what happened...you never wanted to see us hurt. You always protected me and made me feel safe and I'll never forget that feeling. When times were tough, you put a smile on my face and when I felt all I could do was cry,you put laughter in my emotions. I wish I could have done the same for you, but no one knew the extent of your pain. I wish you could have been , just a little less of a man, and been able to show the feelings you were hiding inside and just how much you were hurting... I love you so much Uncle Billy and I miss you more than words can express....

I'll Love you forever, Kristina

My deepest sympathy and condolences to the family. Im so very sorry for your loss as mine. It seems to unreal that he's really gone. I miss his sweet and kind face. Bill was one of the most giving people anyone will ever know. He would help anyone in need. I remember when we first met in 6th grade. We've been great friends ever since. We always had a special relationship, but only friendship because we we're such great friends. There's not a day that goes bye that I don't think of him, and what reasons that he could of had to do this. He will be missed by all who loved him. I feel lucky to have known him. I have so many sweet memories of Bill to last a life time. Those who didn't get the chance just aren't as lucky as me.

Maybe in another life we will see each other again I hope. Life just won't be the same ever again without YOU! You are greatly missed sweet Bill. May God bless you and keep you as you did us.

Billy,

Today is a Monday. Just a typical day, nothing out of the norm, yet something feels wrong. Like I've lost something. Then it hits me again...you are gone. Your leaving us has affected us in ways that we can't explain. And your memory comes unexpectedly with a song, or a smell, a phrase or a joke. You left your mark on all that knew you and it is a good one.You are so missed. Please comfort those that loved you beyond words. Come to them in the gentle breeze or the quiet places in their minds....

Let them know you loved them so.

Uncle Billy,

When I wake up in the morning, you're the first thing on my mind. My days are filled with memories and confusion and questions that will continue to go unanswered and things that we will wonder about for the rest of our lives. The last thing on my mind before I fall asleep, is also you. I love you so much Uncle Billy...along with many, many, many other people. You are so qreatly missed that no words could ever describe the pain and emptiness that we'll carry on forever in our hearts, in our minds, and in our days and nights. You'll never be forgotten Billy and you'll never be loved any less. I know you'll protect those who loved you the best you can. I know you'll always be here, you're only gone physically. Please keep an extra wing out for gram and Katelyn(i know you will). I love you Uncle Billy... Kristina

Billy,

I keep reading all the entries in this book and can't help but wonder if you knew how much you were loved. I write to you ,instead of about you because I believe that you around us all, watching. Your service is today and I am here at home, in Georgia. I can't be there, but you know my heart is there. Please be there, to help everyone be comforted in the fact that you are in a better place now, especially your Mom, Katelyn and Teresa. I love you so much............

Billy,

I have had a hard time sleeping due to the memories of you. I can see you as a baby when I changed your diapers and as a little boy when you broke the window across the street! Then as a man when we had a long talk in your garage, and then telling jokes til dawn. You will be so missed by everyone. You touched many in your life. Your cousin ,Chris, thought of you as his hero. He shot his first gun with you. We are all heart broken and have so many unanswered questions. Your Mom and all of us will love and miss you always. Watch over her please and tell our Mom we will all be with you both someday.

We love you

My condolences to the family. Ive had many an oppurtunity to spend time conversing with 'billy'. I always liked to share our opinions and we respected one another's thoughts and opinions. Once i got to know billy thru his wife Terry, with whom is a high school classmate of mine, he opened his mind and let me into his life of how he lived... worked hard, played hard, lived hard. Billy had a very strong backbone. I wish there was/is someway i can help. I can help. I can be there conversation-wise for Terry and Joe anytime i see them. They are in my thoughts. Once again... my condolences,... Dan Johnson (ie; dantheman or danny to terry)
