Carol Confer Obituary

Carol M. Confer September 10, 1942 - October 20, 2004 Carol M. Confer 62, of Spring Mills, Pa, died Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa. She was born in Bellefonte, Pa on September 10, 1942 to the late Ray A. and Violet G. Wolfe Rote. She was married to Glenn D. Confer on February 3, 1959, who survives. She was a homemaker and of the Protestant Faith. Carol enjoyed quilting and gardening. She is survived by two daughters, Kathy A. Confer and Wanda D. Confer of Spring Mills; two sons, Erik S. Confer and Randy L. Confer of Spring Mills; three sisters, Charlotte Snare of Milroy, Linda Romig and Karen Longer, both of Middleburg, Pa and two brothers, Ray A. Rote, Jr. and Lester Rote, both of Millheim. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 23, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in Millheim with the Rev. William Herrick officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday at the funeral home from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Upper Georges Valley Rd. in Spring Mills, Pa. Memorial contributions may be made to the family c/o The Neff Funeral Home, Millheim, PA 16854.
