Dale Eugene Miller
October 20, 1974 - November 13, 2025
State College, Pennsylvania - Dale Eugene Miller, 51, of State College, went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, November 13, 2025. A warrior of Christ, he fought a long and courageous battle with cancer with grit and determination that is unmatched.
Born October 20, 1974, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Dale and Jane Mosteller Miller. On September 8, 2013 he married Ashley Ann Miller, who survives along with their son, Grayson Duke Miller and beloved dog Willa. He is also survived by a sister, Sharon Miller and her husband Jeff Casino of Beaver Falls, and his in-laws, Doug and Sheri Miller of Bellefonte who were a source of steadfast support throughout his journey.
Dale graduated from Clearfield Area High School and Juniata College, earning a bachelor's degree in Management. Throughout his college career, he dominated the basketball court earning the nickname "DTrain." His love of sports and coaching continued throughout his life, and only got stronger once he had a son to share his passion with. You could often find the two of them throwing a football in the backyard, shooting hoops in the driveway or at their favorite local golf course, Toftrees. Dale and his wife loved planning trips, including their annual Turks and Caicos Spring break where they got engaged.
Dale's passionate nature was evident in everything he did. Relationships were so important to him, befriending people everywhere he went. He devoted his career to the field of Employee Benefits, helping employers navigate the complexity of the insurance world for their employees. Dale never stopped working through his battle, remaining steadfast in his dedication to his clients and team at First National Bank.
Dale's faith was at the forefront of everything he did and only got stronger over the last two years. Throughout his battle, he continually showed up for his community including organizing a fast to benefit the Tides program. He attended State College Access Church with his family.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 4 pm to 6 pm at State College Access Church, 3601 S. Atherton St., State College.
A celebration of Dale's life will be held Friday, November 21, 2025 at 11 am State College at Access Church with Reverends Zac and Ashley McDonald officiating.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that Memorial contributions be made to the Tides Program at
