Frances Fisher Obituary

Frances Kathryn Fisher December 16, 1922 - December 24, 2011 Frances Kathryn Fisher , 89, of State College, died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011, at the Terrace at Brookline at State College. She was born December 16, 1922, in Bogs Township, Centre County a daughter of the late Donald Cameron and Josephine Rose Hoover Poorman. On December 16, 1942, she married Dale W. Fisher who preceded her in death. Following her High School graduation, she spent most of her life as a homemaker. She was a former member of Pleasant Gap United Methodist Church and of the Woman's Club. She especially enjoyed working with handicrafts. Mrs. Fisher is survived by two daughters, Faye Heverly of Greenwood Village, CO; and Becky A. Fisher and her husband David of Hopewell, PA; two granddaughters, Barbara and Denise and two great grand granddaughters Alyssa and Ashley Devers. Friends will be received from 11:00 a. m. to 1:00 p. m. Friday, December 30, 2011 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service P. C., 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA. The funeral will follow immediately at 1:00 p. m. with the Rev. Thomas Osif officiating. Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park, 1032 Benner Pike, State College, PA. A guestbook can be signed or condolences sent to the family at www.heintzelmanfuneralhome.com
