Remember my Dad taking me to get a haircut with him when I was little. Very nice man! My sincere sympathy to Rosie, Kelly and Kevin.

Brindle family, What a wonderful man Jake was. He was a dear friend to both my mom and dad. My earliest memory of Jake was getting my hair cut in his barber chair. Reading all those great comic books and getting a lollipop after my hair was cut. He and my dad loved to fish together. Jim took them both of their last two trips to Poe Valley in my dad's boat. Jim said you could hear them laughing from the shore line. They never did catch any fish on those trips but they had a wonderful time together. Jim and I always enjoyed visiting with Jake and Rosie when we would drop soup off each month from St. James. I cherish the memories of knowing such a wonderful, giving man. Hugs and Prayers to each of you.

Rosie and families,
Our family send you deepest of heart felt sympathy as you go through this life changing experience. We will forever remember all the good times we shared with Jake over the years. Whether it be on one of our family camping trips to Poe Valley, and he would stop in for coffee and some fresh fish over the fire. Or one of the many hours spent on the CB with the gang just shooting the breeze. Oh the stories that could be told from those days.
He was a great friend to many and will be missed greatly. Again our sympathy to the family.
