John R. Juba Jr.

John R. Juba Jr. May 30, 1939 - November 18, 2004 John R. Juba, Jr., 65, of State College, died Thursday November 18, 2004 at his residence. Born May 30, 1939, in Philipsburg, PA, he was a son of the late John R. and Louise Mae Yocum Juba, Sr. He graduated in 1957 from State College Area High School. In 1966, he received a Bachelor's of Science in Education from Mansfield University and in 1968 received a Master's degree in Counselor Education from Penn State University. He served with US Army from 1960-1963. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. He enjoyed American History, especially the Civil War. He is survived by a daughter; Anne M. Boal and her husband Edward of State College, a son; Thomas R. Juba of Raleigh, North Carolina, a sister; Susan L. Small and her husband John of Charleston, South Carolina and a brother, Frederick R. Juba and his wife, Karen of Harrisburg and two grandsons, Edward and Christopher Boal, of State College. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 PM on Tuesday, November 23 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 South Atherton, State College. A Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 AM on Wednesday November 24 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, State College, with Monsignor David Lockard officiating.
