Josephine Cleary Obituary

Josephine P. Cleary May 5, 1917 March 14, 2005 Josephine P. Cleary, 87, of State College, died Monday, March 14, 2005 at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born on May 5, 1917 in Connellsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Theresa Farrie Santini. On August 27, 1942, she married Regis William Cleary, who died on September 3, 1986. She was a graduate of Connellsville High School. She worked as a secretary in the Biomechanics Laboratory at Penn State University. She was a member of the Our Lady of Victory Church; and was involved in the seniors, the altar society and quilting- concern for human life, all within the church. She is survived by a son, Regis M. Cleary and wife Katherine of State College; 3 grandchildren, Aileen T. Cleary, Regis P. Cleary and Evan M. Cleary, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Cunningham. Visitation will be Thursday March 17, from 7 to 9 pm, and Friday March 18, from 8:30 am to 9:30 am at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College. A Funeral Mass will be Friday March 18, at 10:30 am at the Our Lady of Victory Church with the Monsignor David Lockard officiating. Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Our Lady of Victory Church, 820 Westerly Parkway, State College, PA 16801.
