To the Hoy Family: I had lived across the street from Rodney at Hilltop Mobile Home Park. Over the years since he moved in, we became friends and if I ever needed anything, I always knew I could ask him. My home recently burned and he was there to help me... have thought of him often since I moved to South Carolina and was very saddened when Lauren, neighbor, sent me an email... My thoughts and prayers go out to you all, Sandy Harter

To the Hoy family,
My deepest sympathy goes out to each and every one of you. I was totally shocked when Mom told me this tonight. Well just think, now there are three working on antique tractors. Wonder how many of them have been restored? Much love to all.

I met Rodney while working for Quick Courier. I will always remember him for his kindness and his humor. Rodney would laugh as he related the antics on Sanford and Son. The last time I saw him he didn't miss a chance to offer me a helping hand. That was Rodney. May God Bless you and comfort you in your time of loss.

Lulu and family,
I am so sorry to hear about Rodney. You all will be in my prayers and may time heal your sorrow. I miss all of you. I remember the good times I had at your house. Do you remember when you taught me to eat the skins on baked potatoes. Now I absolutely love them. May God Bless you all.
Your friend,
Joyce Martin Clevenstine
