Lewisburg, Pennsylvania - Sandra Lee Vonada, 79, of Lewisburg, formerly of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 2:22 p.m., Monday, December 4, 2023, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born June 22, 1944, in Milton, a daughter of the late Walter W. and Helen Mae (Miller) Deitrick. On May 30, 1964, in Milton, she married Ray F. Vonada, Sr., who preceded her in death February 12, 2002.

Sandra was a 1963 graduate of Milton High School.

She was employed at Par-Knit, Mifflinburg, for 16 years, New Quaker Sewing for 8+ years, and ended her career at Harvey's Food Mart as a night manager, until retirement.

Sandra enjoyed painting ceramics, spending time with her friends and neighbors, and being a homemaker.

Surviving are one son, Ray F. Jr. and Stephanie Vonada of Watsontown; and three step-grandchildren, Ashlyn Foust, and Jodie and Dustin Peachy; three great-grandchildren; and longtime friends who were thought of as family, Lisa and Tom Sprenkle, and Fred and Krisie Lepley.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter Deitrick, Jr., and Harold Deitrick; and long-time partner, Gary Smith.

Funeral services will be private with burial in Union Cemetery, Woodward.
